The editor of 2000AD spoke to Paul Ross on the week to mark the ruby anniversary of the comic's existence.
40 years ago this week, 2000AD began to appear on newstands in Britain.
Matt Smith, the current editor of the comic, spoke to Paul Ross about its longevity.
"It's got a huge legacy of characters, and it's always striving to be fresh and different by finding new writers and artists.
"We've done a special bumper anniversary issue which came out yesterday, and all of the key characters have come back for the issue."
