Elbow's lead singer Guy Garvey joined Paul Ross in the studio to discuss song writing, staying positive and their new album.
The band have released their latest album Little Fictions, and Garvey revealed that the band had decided the album should "dwell on the positive and dwell on the upbeat.
“It’s something we’re known for, it’s something we’ve done that we can’t help doing. I always try and offer a note of hope."
He also spoke about how the band write together, saying: “There’s no rules, the further you go back the less I can remember about the composing in terms of what came first.
“Sometimes the idea can be as vague as a feeling. All five of us write the music together."
