Sir Richard Branson's has always been known for his daredevil spirit, but even he would probably admit he's had some look over the course of his life. 

The billionaire recently weathered Hurricane Irma as it made its way across the Caribbean.

He took residence on his private paradise of Necker Island and survived the storm in a wine cellar. 

But that's not the only time he's had some good fortune in the face of nature - and his own man-mind foolishness.
