Actor Anthony Daniels has told talkRADIO when he first appeared in Star Wars he wondered what on earth he'd got himself into.
A new exhibit has opened at the Cincinnati Museum Center, Ohio displaying costumes worn by actors in the Star Wars film series.
Daniels, who played C-3PO in the films, told Paul Ross that when he was filming at Elstree Studios it was a very hot summer and he was "truly baking" in the C-3PO suit.
He also said that when he first tried saying his lines, he couldn't get them out as he was so nervous.
The actor found out later that George Lucas had tried to replace the voice for C-3PO, as he wasn't sure it should be British.
