Listen to The Motor Show with Andy Jaye podcast

Monday, April 10, 2017

This week on the Motor Show with Any Jaye podcast we bring you a mixture of magnificent mischief.

First up, inventor extraordinaire Colin Furze joins Andy and this week's co-host Alex Goy to talk about some of his inventions, his inspirations and his new children's book to encourage youngsters into picking up their tools. Some of his creations defy belief!

You'll then hear from this week's celebrity bundle as Steve Oram, Ricky Whittle and Michael Bolton - yes THE Michael Bolton - tell us who they would love to take with them on their Ultimate Drive.

Then the studio gets busy as Channel 4 presenter and soon-to-be-Californian Ant Anstead joins us in the studio to tell us about how he landed the gig as the new host of Wheeler Dealers and his new show The World's Most Expensive Cars. Emma Walsh returns to the show next to talk to us about how she ended up powersliding a Ferrari on ice (it's nothing like dancing on ice!) and then Matt Wilkin from the eBay Car Challenge is back to tell us about the three finalists for their ultimate restoration competition. Andy decides to allocate each of the finalists a studio guest and it's fair to say not everyone is happy with their lot!

Finally on the Motor Show portion, Formula E reporter and expert Nicki Shields joined the busy studio to tell us all about one of the most exciting races in history, as Lucas De Grassi somehow found a way to win in Mexico against all the odds.

Then in Gadget Hour, James Cook brings us his regular dose of extraordinary tech news and lastly the man who has invented the 'Iron Man jet powered suit', Richard Browning. No, honestly. You have to hear it to believe it. Enjoy this bumper edition of the show.

Remember you can only hear the whole show first and in full every Saturday from 3pm on talkRADIO with the Motor Show repeated on Sunday afternoons at 2pm. You can contact the show on Twitter: @motorshowonair and by email: themotorshow@talkradio.co.uk.
