Singer Caro Emerald joined Paul Ross to chat about how she started singing and her love of music.
Emerald will be touring throughout the UK from March 28 to April 29.
She told Paul Ross: “I discovered when I was 11 that I had a talent for singing and that’s when I started, and started dreaming about a career as a singer.
"They told me I should sing jazz [in singing lessons]. I had no special connection to jazz, I just had a sound I guess."
The singer also revealed that when writing an album "we work with concepts, not so much in that we think of an idea, it’s more like we work with mood boards and images to find a direction for our album."
