Patrick Monahan popped by the studio for a chat with Paul Ross

The lead singer of Train has been with the band since its formation in 1993. The band's latest studio album, A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat, has climbed to number 12 in the charts.

He revealed more about how the album came together, his work with the band, and how he still enjoys creating music.

He told Paul Ross:  "It's fun. After more than 20 years of creating music, you're still penetrating the audience.

"That's really difficult, with all of the music people have access to.

"If we want Train to move forward, then I have to figure the best way to do it, and surround myself with them.

"This whole album is very postitive."
