James Whale starts his own version of 'Blind Date' to find Ash a partner

James Whale tried to find Ash a date

Wednesday, February 8, 2017

With Blind Date set to return to our TV screens, James Whale thought he'd try and find his co-presenter Ash his own blind date.

The show, which was fronted by the late Cilla Black and saw singletons answer questions from behind a wall, was a huge hit during the 80s and 90s. Now the Saturday night TV staple is set for a comeback, and will be aired later this year on Channel 5.

First off James made a pitch for a role as the show's presenter. Then, on a more serious note, he started prepping James for a role on the show when it returns to our screens.

First off, James went through some questions similar to those that Ash could be asked if he was appearing on the show - but Ash's answers were rather unclear, as he struggled to explain his passions in life and name his favourite body part.

Although calls weren't exactly flooding in, one caller, named Mike, did finally agree to go on a date with our Ash, even suggesting going shopping for duty-free in Belgium. Romance is ne on talkRADIO.
