A boy aged just 14 years old has been charged with murdering a 20-year-old man outside a nursery.
He has also been charged with attempted wounding as well as possessing an offensive weapon, Scotland Yard has said.
Kelva Smith was discovered with several stab wounds on a street in South Norwood, London last week, according to the Evening Standard.
Paramedics arrived with police however the man was later pronounced dead at the scene near the nursery.
At the time of the incident Smith was said to have been walking alongside his cousin.
The accused boy is set to appear in Croydon Magistrates’ Court today (March 12).
A 19-year-old has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon and murder in relation to the incident. Tyrone Farquharson has already appeared in court.
A 15-year-old was also arrested by police, however he has been bailed.
