A hairdresser in Germany has started using an unusual employee to give his customers neck massages.
Rather than a person, Frank Doehlen uses a 13-year-old python to give massages at the Haar Mode Team salon in Dresden, according to UPI.
He was inspired to start the practice when he saw a similar technique being used during a trip to South Africa.
However the massages are only available to customers two days a week.
Doehlen said visitors to the salon can only have the massage by appointment as the size of the snake's terrarium means it cannot live in the shop full-time.
Instead, he brings Monty the python to work with him on request.
The snake measures four feet long and is also 90% muscle.
