'I'm not sleazy or drunk' - Colonel Bob Stewart refutes Westminster sex harassment claims

The MP for Beckenham angrily refuted the claims against him

Colonel Bob Stewart has angrily refuted claims of sexual harassment on talkRADIO.

This follows a list of allegations being published against a variety of Conservative MPs in Parliament, including several cabinet ministers.

The MP for Beckenham was giving the paper review when the subject turned to the ongoing 'sex pest' scandal in Westminster, and on the list, it has been alleged Stewart is "perpetually intoxicated and inappropriate with women."

He furiously denied this to Paul Ross: "I don’t know what they say about me, but it probably comes from me calling some girl what I describe as pretty.

"Apparently from that, I’m permanently drunk and assaulting women. I’m not sleazy or drunk. I’m fed up."

"They're anonymous allegations. Someone is making these up - people who are victims on the list, quite a few have done absolutely nothing wrong, yet their names are dragged in the mud. Who do you sue?

“A huge number of MPs think this is total rubbish, and this goes right to the top."

Listen above.
