Julia had a feisty debate with Remainer Peter Wilding on her show this morning - saying Brexit was fundamentally a simple process.

Speaking on the eve of a key vote on Brexit in the Commons, Julia also told Wilding why she voted for Brexit in the first place.

Julia said that she and her fellow Brexiteers "want to be able to trade feely, we just don't want to be able to have our political world run by them. Nothing complicated about it Peter.

"The rest of the world manages it just fine."

Julia also said she didn't vote for Parliament to take back control - a common refrain from Remainers. Instead she voted for the British people to take back control.

Wilding countered by saying that Britain doesn't sell beef to the US - but Julia pointed out this was due to the BSE scare rather than any intrinsic problem with trading regulations.
