Wikileaks didn't technically leak anything, it only release leaked documents which newspapers then published, according to human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell.
Sweden has announced that it has dropped a rape investigation into Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, who is currently living in the Ecuadorean embassy in London.
Tatchell told Julia Hartley-Brewer that he believes Assange thought newspapers like The Guardian and New York Times would censor the documents he had sent them, and thought it wasn't Wikileaks job to do so.
He also said that the rape case could be reopened if Assange returns to Sweden, but due to this he is unlikely to do so.
The campaigner called into question the credibility of Sweden's claims, as he is surprised prosecutors didn't charge him if they had real evidence.
