A man in Glasgow is being treated after suffering facial wounds from being shot in the city centre.
The incident happened around 10 minutes past midnight on Thursday morning (May 18) on Craighill Road.
Medical staff tending to the man have described his condition as serious, but stable.
A part of the slip road to a junction of the M8 has been closed off while police conduct an investigation into the incident.
The investigating officers are appealing for witnesses.
Commuters were warned to expect longer-than-usual journey times as the authorities continued to work on the scene.
