A man jumped out of his car at exactly the right moment in Hong Kong after he noticed smoke rising from the vehicle.
Just moments after he got out of the seven-seater car, it burst into flames, eventually leaving nothing behind but the chassis.
The incident took place at around 8am local time this morning (November 10), according to The South China Morning Post.
Six fire engines attended the scene and it took around 10 minutes to get the fire under control.
Two ambulances were also sent out to the incident on the North Lantau Highway.
Thankfully the 37-year-old driver was left with just minor injuries to his hands, but was taken to North Lantau Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the Fire Services Department said: “The vehicle was damaged, and the cause of the fire remains unknown, but an initial investigation found nothing suspicious."
