One of Roger Moore's biggest fans has given talkRADIO a very personal account of his meeting with the James Bond legend, who died today at the age of 89.
Marc Haynes gave us a hilarious account of how Moore had to sign his own name, rather than that of Bond, when he asked for the star's autograph as a child.
Haynes, now a writer and broadcaster himself, revealed that, when he asked Moore why he couldn't sign the name 'Bond', the actor told him that he was terrified the spy's arch-enemy Blofeld might discover his location.
Sam also gave his own memory of Moore, describing him as his favourite Bond of all time.
