Russia make shock exit from Eurovision Song Contest

Russia will not have a contestant in the Eurovision Song Contest final for the first time in 20 years. 

In Thursday's semi-final singer Yulia Samoylova failed to gain enough votes for her song I Won't Break, eliminating her from the contest. 

Russian state TV has responded by removing the live final from their scheduling. 

The final, which takes place in Lisbon, will be the 63rd edition of the contest. 

26 countries will take part on Saturday, and they are:

United Kingdom

Czech Republic
