Donald Trump’s media circus is distracting from what should be the Democrats response to his speech, which showed him as a "very dangerous and controversial political operator."
That's according to political journalist Mike Indian, who spoke to talkRADIO after Melania Trump appeared at her husband's State of the Union speech.
The appearance was Melania's first alongside the President since it was claimed he had a fling with porn star Stormy Daniels in 2006.
Daniels later denied that the claim was true, but then denied that she had ever said she invented the claim.
Indian told Jamie East and Saira Khan:"As ever Donald Trump’s media circus and all the speculation surrounding his private life has detracted from what would normally be the Democrats' response."
However he thinks "what we saw last night is a man who is capable of delivering a refined polished message and sounding semi-reasonable too that makes him still a very dangerous and controversial political operator."
But Jamie argued "this is not a great speech, this is a child who’s just been told to read."
Indian added that he thinks Trump could resign "in a huff at some point in the next couple of years" over some trivial matter.
