A teenage girl accused of the murder of Katie Rough is to appear at Leeds Crown Court today.
Seven-year-old Katie was found with severe lacerations to her neck and chest in York last month. She later died in hospital from her injuries.
The teenager was arrested shortly after Katie was found, and charged with murder.
At her last hearing, there was no application for bail and she was held on remand in a youth detention centre.
On Monday, Katie's funeral was held at York Minster, where hundreds of mourners wore rainbow-coloured accessories to pay their respects.
