The United Kingdom needs to have more children to curb immigration.
This is according to Ukip MEP David Coburn, who presented this solution to Jonny and Ash in an interview on their show last night.
He said: "Why don't we have more children? A lot of the time, people have said we're not reproducing enough people, we need to bring them in from abroad.
"It's good to have some immigration, but we don't need open-door mass European Union-style immigration. We want to choose the people we bring into the country.
"People with good family policies [need] to have more children. I think people would have more children if they could afford it, and a lot of government policies are not family-friendly."
Coburn also sounded a note of optimism around the upcoming leadership election within Ukip, admitting he'll most likely back Steven Woolfe.
"There's a lot of good people in Ukip," he told Jonny Gould and Ash. "This will be a sort of showcase for our people, who's available, who's good, etc.
"Nigel Farage is a great orator, and following him will be a tough act. What's more important to me is making sure we get a candidate who's not going to split the boat.
"I fish in the same waters as Steven Woolfe, so I think I'd be more likely to be supporting him because I think he's very good and a perfectly solid guy."
