Italy's failure to qualify for the World Cup has left a nation in disbelief - but at least Swedish supporters have been kind enough to sing them a song.
Following Italy's 0-0 draw with Sweden on Monday night, Scandinavian fans who had travelled for the crucial qualifier began to sing Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, according to The Evening Standard.
It's hard to imagine the song went down to well with Italian fans after the country's first World Cup qualification in 60 years.
Manager Gian Piero Ventura, whose position is likely to come under threat as a result of the debacle, reflected the national mood by saying he is "sorry for all of Italian football," the BBC reports.
But perhaps he'll cheer up if he watches footbage of the Swedish fans.
