Grace Victory has revealed more about her new book, inspiring others and her views on representation.
Presenter and blogger Grace Victory, who started making YouTube videos five years ago, has now released a book about her life entitled No Filter.
Victory, known as the "internet's big sister" told the Badass Women's Hour more about her book, she said it's about "how I changed my life around. It talks about all my childhood trauma and sort of how I got to where I am now."
She explained that when she was making videos "I started to realise that talking about my problems enabled people to talk about theirs."
So in her book she "put everything in there. Now this is because I feel like I was put on this earth to help people so all the struggles I’ve had is to inspire other people to not give up."
But she believes there is still a problem with representation in many industries and thinks "in the blogging world the middle class white people don’t recognise their privilege and they don’t use their platforms to help marginalised people and ethnic minorities."
