George Galloway believes banks and businesses wanted someone to derail Brexit

Banks and businesses were desperate for someone like Tony Blair to try and derail Brexit, but we need to leave the EU, says George Galloway.

Tony Blair has urged the British people to "rise up" and change their minds about Brexit, as he believes we should remain in the European Union.

However, Galloway believes, "the banks, the big business, they were desperate for someone to come along, something to come along to derail this [Brexit] project," and it has turned out to be Blair.

"If Tony Blair and all the banks and all the big business are in favour of remaining in the EU, why should [we] be in favour of it?

”If it’s such a good idea why is Tony Blair such a leading voice for it? We made the right decision to leave and we should leave as quickly as possible."
