George Galloway thinks that George Osborne could use the London Evening Standard to turn people against Theresa May.
The former Chancellor has been announced as the new editor of the London Evening Standard, but he will keep his role as an MP for Tatton.
The talkRADIO presenter said Osborne claiming that constituents in Tatton "will not be disadvantaged" by this is "ludicrous" and doesn't "hold up."
Galloway also believes Osborne, who was removed as chancellor by Mrs May last year, could use his new role to take revenge.
The former Labour MP said: "He [Osborne] could use the Evening Standard for internal Tory party battles, he could use the Evening Standard against Theresa May, maybe try and push her out, after all she sacked him."
But added: “I suppose you could say if he does to the Evening Standard what he did to the British economy my friend Evgeny Lebedev [who co-owns the newspaper] will be back in Russia before you can say Jack Robinson."
