Comedian Jon Richardson has revealed that he used to sleep in his car to get away from his housemates, including fellow comedian Russell Howard.
He described Bristolian stand-up Mark Olver as an “exemplary” housemate, whilst Howard “was the other end of the scale”.
Richardson told talkRADIO’s Matthew Wright: “Mark Olver, who does the warm up for my show and does the warm up for most shows.
“You might not have seen him on screen but he is behind most screens.
“He was an exceptional housemate because we lived together a year and he slept only about three nights in the flat. That was perfect, it was like living on my own. Exemplary.”
'He's a dirty boy'
Richardson added: “Russell Howard was the other end of the scale. He is a very dirty boy.
“Some nights I used to go sleep in the car because they used to annoy me so much.
“I would just recline the seat because there were just always noises. It was a Ford KA so it was tight in there.”
Jon Richardson as lived with a range of comedians including Russell Howard, Matt Forde and John Robins.
Jon Richardson: Old Man Live is released on DVD on November 19.
