Marijuana seller in the States calls police to report theft of his stash

This man clearly wanted the police to know he'd been robbed

When you're doing something illegal, no doubt there are some occupational hazards you have to deal with - like other people committing crimes against you.

But this apparently didn't occur to a marijuana dealer in Clarksville, Tennessee, who called 911 to report the theft of a stash of weed worth roughly $200.

In this call, he admitted he sold the stuff to support his girlfriend and unborn child - something which isn't strictly legal in Tennessee law. If convicted, defendents face being handed a fine of up to $2,500 and/or one year in jail.

What apparently happened was a pot deal gone wrong. The man went to meet a prospective client to sell the stash to him, but when they met the client grabbed the weed and pulled a gun on the dealer, telling him that he'd shoot if he came after him.

Apparently, all of his friends had told him not to report the incident. But some people just really, really desire justice, it seems.

We'll keep an eye on this case over the coming months.
