When you create a Twitter handle, you most likely think nothing of it.

But for some people, their presence on Twitter has opened them to unwanted and undeserved abuse.

The cause of this is simple mistaken identity, the misfortune of sharing the same name as a public figure or company. Sadly it seems few Twitter trolls are prepared to do their research before sending off hateful missives in 140 characters.
