The Big Debate: Do we need chairs?

Please be seated

Tuesday, May 17, 2016

Time for 'The Big Debate' as Jon Holmes wondered whether standing is better than sitting.

His questions arose after the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) President Sir Philip Craven 'chaired' a panel on sport at the UK anti-corruption summit.

The obvious thing to ask then, do we need chairs?

Martin finds many more uses for chairs than just sitting, insisting we need to keep them.

"If we didn't have chairs, we'd never change a light bulb."

Dora, however,  opposes his view and believes they are the source of many problems.

"Chairs are one of the single greatest causes of violence. Wrestlers would have to shake hands if they didn't have chairs [to hit each other with]."

Listen to the full debate and make your own mind up about chairs.
