The Big Debate: Do we need holes?

The Big Debate: Do we need holes?

Are holes more trouble than they're worth?

Thursday, May 5, 2016

It's time for the most important question of the day...

After Prince Harry told a US magazine he is trying to fill "a void" left by the death of his mother Princess Diana by completing charity work, it left Jon Holmes wondering, do we need holes?

Nick and Bernard joined Jon on air. For a start, Nick thought food with holes wasn't worth eating.

"If I offered you a cake where approximately a third of the cake is missing, would you like it much? No."

On the other hand, Bernard found holes vital for great tasting food.

"Polos are a fantastic example. And can you imagine a world without Aeros, they're technically small holes."

But it's not just food affected by holes, Nick believes we should be rid of them all.

"I'd like to fill all the potholes, all the wormholes, and the whole of all the other holes."

Listen to the full debate and make up your own mind about holes.
