Joe Woolford and Jake Shakeshaft, AKA Joe and Jake, have told talkRADIO how touched they've been by the public support since their performance in the Eurovision Song Contest on Saturday.

The duo were this year's UK entry into the competition in Stockholm, performing their song You're Not Alone. Despite scoring 54 points from the countries' individual juries in the first stage of voting - even earning the UK 12 points for the first time in seven years from Malta's jury - but failed to do well in the public vote, scoring only eight points and ending Eurovision at the lower end of the scoreboard with a total score of 62.

The boys, however, weren't disappointed by their performance.

"It was incredible," they told Paul Ross. "We just went out there and gave it our absolute everything. Regardless of the result, everyone was so happy.

"We haven't seen a bad comment [on social media]. They've all been saying how much more we deserved.

"We were really happy with our performance. We just can't thank everyone enough for their support."
