Nathan Gill praised Nigel Farage following today's results of the EU referendum.
Speaking to Alex Dibble on the Paul Ross Full Set Breakfast show, Gill, the leader of UKIP in Wales, told listeners he couldn't "stop pinching himself".
"I am ecstatic about it," he told Alex Dibble. "I always believed one day we would do this.
"The people of Britain have spoken, and they have voted we will leave the EU."
He reassured listeners UKIP will still be around, and Nigel Farage will still be its proud leader.
"Many people have said this was our raison d'etre," he added. "But it'll be our job to report on the proceedings and tell the public David Cameron or whoever is leading the Conservative Party doesn't try to trick us.
"Nigel Farage will still be our leader. He is the man who has delivered more for Great Britain since Winston Churchill and deserves all of our admiration."
