Eleven children have died after the bus transporting them crashed in a tunnel in eastern China.
The children - aged between three and six - were being carried to a kindergarden in Weihei, a city across the Yellow Sea from South Korea, when they were involved in the crash.
Pictures on social media and in local reports appeared to show black smoke billowing out of the tunnel in the Shandong provice and the bus engulfed by flames.
Despite this, Reuters has not been able to independently verify the accuracy of the reports.
Six of the children were Chinese, while five were from South Korea.
The SK consulate in the provincial capital Qinghao had earlier said all of the children had been South Korean. It confirmed it had sent officers to the crash site.
