Another actress has accused Harvey Weinstein of rape in a London Hotel room after the Bafta award ceremony in 2008.
Natassia Malthe, who has appeared in around 50 films, made the latest allegations against the disgraced producer at a press conference in New York.
She spoke of how she had met Weinstein at the afterparty of the event, and how she had felt pressured into telling him she was staying at the Sanderson Hotel.
She claimed he had woken her up by banging on the door of her hotel room in the middle of the night, and implied having sex with him would get her a role in an upcoming film.
Malthe then said Weinstein had forced himself onto her, saying the sex had not been consensual and he hadn’t used a condom.
The following day, she allegedly received a script and, upon her return to Los Angeles, was given the impression she had landed a role in the movie Nine, which starred Daniel Day-Lewis and Nicole Kidman, among other members of an all-star cast.
But when she went to meet him at the Penisula Hotel in Beverly Hills, where he’d reportedly told her an assistant would be present, Malthe claimed he asked her to engage in a threesome.
The disgraced producer is the subject of investigation by police forces in Los Angeles, New York, and London over criminal allegations of rape, while his former company, The Weinstein Company, is being examined under a civil rights investigation.
The producer denies all allegations of sex which was not consensual.
