A US prisoner is suing the facility where he is incarcerated after he sustained a four-day erection.
Dustin Lance was sentenced for burglary and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in 2016 and has been serving his sentence at the Pittsburg County jail in McAlester, Oklahoma.
After taking a pill he was given by a fellow prisoner, he received an erection that lasted for 91 hours. His lawsuit - worth $5mn (£760200) - claims he was in 'unbearable pain' and was left with damage to his penis.
The 31-year-old also says his attempts to summon prison guards for help resulted in him being mocked over the predicament.
Prison doctors were unable to treat him for the condition and recommended he see a urologist, but treatment was reportedly delayed after officers took him back to jail to organise it.
The lawsuit names Pittsburg County Sheriff Chris Morris, as well as other employees in the local authority's office, however the former claims the first he'd heard of the incident was when the prisoner had filed it.
He also says he insisted inmates received medical care if they sought it.
