Paul Ross has told Tory MP Anne Marie Morris to quit after her 'n-word' slur yesterday.
In an impassioned monologue, our presenter said there is absolutely no need to use such language and suggested there is now no way out for the Newton Abbot MP.
Morris used the epithet during a public meeting about Brexit, and has now been suspended by Theresa May. But Paul believes this doesn't go far enough.
He said: "She's an oxford graduate, so you might be forgiven for thinking she had access to a reasonable vocabulary. Why did she dredge up, then, the most offensive word in the English language?
"It's never a word that I've used, certainly never in conversation, never in an argument. Why the hell would anyone have that word in their mind when they're speaking in public?
"I'm not in favour of banning the word outright, but I do think this woman needs to resign.
"She's got to look in the mirror this morning, and go."
