Live TV is fraught with many dangers, but one of the most common is probably technical mishaps.

The BBC has had its fair share over the years, from putting the wrong interviewee on air to the hilarious children of professor Robert Kelly gatecrashing his interview.

Now, there's a new one to add to the list, after a weather presenter was labelled an "ex-offender" in a caption.

Kawser Quamer was left struggling to control fits of giggles at the mistake, occasionally looking away as she attempted to control her laughter.

She wasn't the only one - Catriona Shearer, the main presenter, had ‘Vicky Stewart – Aaron’s Fiancee’ come onto the screen as she finished the segment.

Quamer was able to see the funny side, posting a tweet to suggest a police car would be taking her home on Twitter.

The duo earned praise for managing to hold it together in the face of the mishap.
