If blue passports are the best thing the Government can say about Brexit, it shows how much chaos we're in, according to a journalist.
The British passport is to become blue after Brexit, however many have been angered by reports claiming it is to be made by a French-Dutch company called Gemalto, as the British company which made British passports previously, De La Rue, has said ti has lost the contract.
Peter Foster, the Europe editor for the Daily Telegraph told Mike Graham: "We could have had a blue passport without leaving the European Union.
"If the best thing the Government can come up with about Brexit is that we can change the colour of our passports to me that just speaks about how much chaos there is."
Conservative MP John Redwood also spoke about the Irish border and said "what you have to understand is there is already a complex border in Northern Ireland.
"Already there’s a lot of electronic paperwork that has to be processed" so the issue is not a Brexit problem and a lot of people agree, "they’re just not allowed any time on the airwaves."
He added: "You’re not going to have an agreement which the British people and Parliament will welcome unless it is a fair agreement and unless it includes some benefits for us.
"I don’t disagree with [negotiators] trying to sort out all the issues that the EU think are relevant but it would be quite nice if we sorted out some of the issues that we thought were relevant at the same time."
