Nigerian security officials have claimed they foiled plots by terror group Boko Haram to attack the US and UK embassies in Abuja.
Boko Haram - which is affiliated to Islamic State - had reportedly planned to attack the embassies as well as other "western interests".
The statement released by the Department of State Services said five suspects who were based in both the Benue state and the Federal Capital Territory were apprehended.
The US embassy appeared to update its travel information as a response to this, warning government bases in the area had been targets for terrorist groups.
The seven-year long uprising by Boko Haram has claimed the lives of more than 20,000 people.
