Boris Johnson has called for a united response to the latest missile test from North Korea.
The regime in Pyongyang fired an intermediate-range missile over Japan into the Pacific – the second time it had done so in recent weeks.
The Foreign Secretary called the test “illegal” and insisted the United Kingdom and the international community would stand united in the face of North Korea’s “provocations.”
He insisted Japan and other international partners of the UK had the full support of the country.
The statements were made in a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson.
Before the latest test, Johnson had called on China to use its influence as North Korea’s biggest trading partner to push for denuclearisation.
