Borussia Dortmund are to resume their Champions League tie with Monaco this afternoon after being caught up in a series of three explosions around the team bus.

Following the series of blasts on Tuesday, which resulted in the quarter-final tie being postponed, chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said the players were in shock.

Defender Marc Bartra was taken to hospital after he reportedly suffered from minor injuries to the arm.

Watzke said in a Facebook statement: "An explosive strike was carried out on the bus after the team departed the hotel.

"Three explosives were placed and triggered on the road edge and the whole team is in shock.

"Everyone will come even closer together."
