Leader of the Liberal Democrats Tim Farron has heavily criticised Prime Minister Theresa May over Brexit.
Speaking at the Liberal Democrats' annual conference, Mr. Farron, a strong critic of Brexit, said "the absence of leadership" from Mrs. May "is astonishing."
May held a Cabinet meeting at Chequers to discuss plans for exiting the European Union at the end of August, and has claimed Article 50 won't be triggered until next year.
However Mr. Farron said: "Three months on it is not good enough to have brainstorming sessions at Chequers while investment and jobs steadily bleeds away.
"The Conservative Party has now lost the right to call itself a party of business, it has lost the right to call itself the party of the free market.
"My message to any business in this country, large or small is this: if you are backing today's Conservative party, you are funding your own funeral."
