Lord Charlie Falconer has argued with Julia Hartley-Brewer over the ruling in the High Court which sent political shockwaves through the UK.

Last week, the High Court ruled that Theresa May can't start negotiating with the EU until she has Parliamentary approval, a ruling which the Government will contest in December.

The decision has provoked an outcry amongst many who campaigned to leave the European Union

Lord Falconer, the former Labour Lord Chancellor, insisted that "Labour will not stop the government from serving Article 50 notice", but "Parliament should have an idea of what the government is seeking".
