2016 Britain's Got Talent winner Richard Jones popped by the talkRADIO studios for a chinwag with our Full Set Breakfast host.

Lance Corporal Jones, who joined the army six years ago, blew the audience and the judges away with his audition, when he turned orange soda into tea.

"I auditioned in Liverpool, who are great because they're very noisy," he told Paul Ross. "But it was a bit of a worry because the act before me got booed off, they were quite harsh.

"It was scary, but as soon as I walked on and said who I was, I got a few cheers and it gradually got better and better."

After being declared the winner, Jones told Paul about his upcoming plans to star in The West End show Impossible at the Noël Coward Theatre.

"There's six other magicians, plus me," he added. "I'm really looking forward to it.

"I actually saw the show last year, and thought it would be great to be a part of."

Impossible runs at the Noël Coward Theatre from July 13. Watch the full interview with Richard above.
