Entrepreneur Charlie Mullins has told talkRADIO why he's running for London Mayor.
Mullins exclusively told us that he'll be running for election to City Hall, and now he has mapped out his vision for the mayoralty in an interview with Julia Hartley-Brewer.
The boss of Pimlico Plumbers told Julia that "we need someone to fight London's corner," adding "I just don't think [Khan] is doing enough for London.
"He's just not powerful enough. He's just plodding along, sitting on the fence."
Mullins said that he'd make apprenticeships and affordable housing keynote themes of his mayoralty, adding that he will build bridges with Brussels.
Julia suggested that the experience of Donald Trump is a warning about businesspeople taking high offices, but Mullins ridiculed the suggestion, saying he is nothing like the US President.
