Transport for London has revealed the Croydon tram service will re-open this afternoon, nine days on from the crash which killed seven people.
The tram derailed last Wedesday while travelling at three times and a half the speed limit. Around 50 people were injured in the crash, which occurred at around 6am.
A permanent memorial will be created for the seven people who died and the victims' families and communities will be consulted on what the memorial will be like.
The tram driver has been arrested and bailed over the incident and an investigation into what caused the crash continues.
