Even by Donald Trump's standards, this is a pretty outrageous claim.
The President-elect has claimed Hillary Clinton is corrupt, global warming was invented by the Chinese and Mexico will pay for a wall along its US border. But now he's really pushed the envelope - by saying he doesn't like tweeting.
Twitter is one of the president-elect's most-used platforms, where he has aired his views and issued fiery responses to slights against him on an almost perpetual basis.
He's caused controversy with tweets about his opponents, and even called out last year's presidential election for being 'rigged' in 140 characters.
In an interview with Fox News to be aired today, Mr. Trump told presenter Ainsley Earhardt that he doesn't like tweeting, but he feels that "dishonest media" push him to be so active on the social network.
He said: "If the press were honest, I wouldn't use Twitter.
"But I get dishonest media, dishonest press. [Tweeting is] the only way I can counteract it.
"When people make misstatements about me, I’m able to call it out."
