Donald Trump has been reported to be angry with Jared Kushner as the probe into alleged interference during the US Presidential election continues to hang over his administration.

The Independent is reporting on claims the US President is "turning" on his Senior White House Advisor in the wake of indictments being issued for two of his former employees.

Paul Manafort - his former campaign manager  - and his associate Rick Gates were charged with a series of federal offences, including conspiracy against the United States, earlier this week.

The charges relate to an alleged transaction of money the pair are reported to have received from a former president of Ukraine.

With Manafort under house arrest, Trump is said to be angry with Kushner for making certain decisions which led to Robert Mueller becoming the head of the Russia probe.

Vanity Fair is reporting the President blamed his son-in-law for his advice on firing Michael Flynn and former FBI director James Comey, which he reportedly attributes to Mueller becoming appointed.

The publication is reporting Trump is "apoplectic" as his allies share growing fears of impeachment.

The US President has continued to dismiss the inquiry as a "witch hunt", and tried to shift the attention onto Hillary Clinton in the wake of the indictments.
