People are already taking to the streets in protest after Donald Trump's shock victory as American president.
More than 1,500 people gathered at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA) to protest the election result.
They openly refused to acknowledge the Republican as the next president, and a few even committed vandalism, in a display of their sadness and rage at the result.
Up the coast in Santa Barbara, hundreds walked out on the UC campus, while an estimated 500 students protested on the grounds of the University College of San Diego.
Some people even burned the American flag as a symbol of their rage after Trump beat Hillary Clinton in a result which has shocked the result.
