'Donald Trump's presidency is effectively dead', says George Galloway

Our host made the comments on his show in a discussion about the US president

George Galloway has claimed the presidency of Donald Trump is "effectively dead."

Our host referenced comments made by Steve Bannon, the administration's former Chief Strategist, who departed the White House nearly two weeks ago.

Shortly afterwards, he declared Trump's time as President was over.

Our host said Bannon was right in this assessment, telling his talkRADIO listeners: "Trump’s relations with Russia were, for me, the only good thing about him.

"This has now been effectively abandoned. Even if Trump’s instincts had been to reset the relations and challenge the prevailing orthodoxies of the deep state, it’s now over, isn’t it?

"Steve Bannon is right – the Breitbart boss, as he must now be described – he’s right.

"Trump’s presidency is effectively dead. He’s still there, he’s in office, but he’s not in power."
