Ed Balls has revealed that he's supporting Hillary Clinton in the US election, which he believes is the "most important" in US history.
Balls, formerly the shadow chancellor of the exchequer under Ed Miliband, is currently competing in Strictly Come Dancing.
At the Pride of Britain Awards, Balls told talkRADIO reporters Johnny Seifert and Alex Farrell: "I think it's the most wide, unstable American election I can remember, but it's going to turn out to be the most important.
"I'm just willing Hillary to get over the line, and I think she will. Everyday is another day and there's new surprises.
"Whether you're Democrat or Republican, in the United States people are thinking that they need Hillary to win, and that's what I’m certainly thinking.”
